  (it was embarrassing, but nice to hear anyway.)
• test scores that bump your grade up from a B.
• winter break= only a few more school days away.
• getting cookies and chocolate from your piano teacher.
• jazzy arrangements of Christmas songs.
• jazzy arrangements of Christmas songs when they come on the radio, and you don’t expect them.
• getting hugged from behind, especially by people who smell good.

yep, another good day.

today was a good day. everything went well for some reason.

two tests that I didn’t really study for ended up being pretty easy (but I don’t wanna jinx myself); finally got my PSAT scores back, after everybody around me seemed to have gotten theirs already; I felt great and alert even though I got the least of sleep so far this week; I completed my acting audition, finishing off the 3 day audition process; went to a new seamstress, whose price was half the cost of the lady we went to last week; threw something out of my mind; finalized vest colors at the suit place; got an FM transmitter in time for Saturday’s Christmas party road trip; ate shrimp tempura sushi; watch the ah-maaay-zing fall finale of Glee. that ending..! <3

oh, on top of that, I’m gonna be sweet sixteen in just 1 week. ahhhh.

In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question “What kind of man are you looking for?” She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking, “Do you really want to know?” Reluctantly, he said, “Yes.”

She began to expound… “As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me that I can’t do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any man…or woman for that matter. I am in the position to ask, ‘What can you bring to the table?’”

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money.

She quickly corrected his thought and stated, “I am not referring to money, I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life.”

He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain.

She said, “I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don’t need a simple-minded man. I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because I don’t need to be unequally yoked… believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster.

I need a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don’t need a financial burden. I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded. I am looking for someone who I can respect In order to be submissive, I must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn’t taking care of his business. I have no problem being submissive…he just has to be worthy. God made woman to be a helpmate for man. I can’t help a man if he can’t help himself.”

When she finished her spill, she looked at him. He sat there with a puzzled look on his face. He said, ‘You are asking a lot.

She replied, “I’m worth a lot.”

today was the first day of auditions for The Wedding Singer. Thank God it ended up being the dance auditions today because I didn’t have my full voice, and originally it was vocals today. Ms. Kline’s a lot more organized than Mrs. Sannino, which is something I like; for one, she separates auditions between freshman&soph and juniors&seniors. a butttttload of freshmen are trying out there year! last year, it was literally me, regan, sophie, jon, lee—there was bri, but she didn’t hang out with us. this year, we were in the same group for the dance auditions, again <3 we were the first group to go out of everyone, prob coz we’re the bigger fish in a small pond right now.

the dance was a lot harder than last year’s audition, but I loved it! the only thing that made me nervous was this body roll we had to do, but regan and sophie kept insisting I did it fine. The Wedding Singer music is really upbeat and catchy, and a lot of it has a rock feel because it’s the 80s. I wanna do the dance again :D

even though auditions are fun.. can it be Friday yet?

glee was intense today. and there were all those songs about smiling, I loved all of them =D can’t wait to put them on my ipod.

hahaha, what’s funny is I actually have no clue who this is. I have a few guesses, and I was sure it was this one chick until I saw the word “disss”. actually, now I’m pretty sure it’s her, it sounds just like her. who knows if she’s gonna see this, though.

it started out okay, but things went downhill from there. whats newww. things aren’t looking good for my dress, and I can’t find my running shoes—grr. anyways, I’m gonna go get over it by eating sushi, blasting my RENT dvd, and watching Glee later. I feel better already!
